Skillbuild and the Electrical and Communications Association of WA (ECAWA) have combined to deliver renewable energy training at the College of Electrical Training campus at Jandakot, in Perth.
Skillbuild will deliver the training and issuing of statements to enable Clean Energy Council accreditation.
The College of Electrical Training will provide facilities and support.
Skillbuild’s training involves a large practical component so the organisation will be buying up-to-date equipment and expecting participants to perform “real” installs as part of their practical work.
The College of Electrical Training has an arrangement with the Construction Training Fund so eligible students may get a large part of the course fee funded.
Enrolments will be through the College of Electrical Training and transferred to Skillbuild’s system for delivery of the course.
Courses will be limited to 12 people and all sessions are in-person at the College of Electrical Training campus at Jandakot.
Upcoming course schedule:
Grid Connect Design and Install
Electric Vehicle Charging (non-accredited half-day course)
